Robert H. Hart Fellowship

Description of Award:

This fellowship was established in memory of Dr. Ronald P. Hart’s father and UConn alumnus, Robert H. Hart, in order to provide financial support for students enrolled in UConn’s Neag School of Education with priority consideration given to those who are from, student teach or plan to teach in Meriden, CT.

Award Parameters:

  • Be enrolled full-time in the School’s Integrated Bachelors/Masters Teacher Education program, or similar such successor program within the School
  • Demonstrate academic excellence
  • Demonstrate financial need
  • From those candidates that meet the criteria above, priority consideration will be given to students who are from Meriden, CT, who student teaches in Meriden, CT or plans to teach in Meriden, CT
